June Atlanta Apparel Market – Looking Ahead to Day Three

Day one is done and day two is currently underway, but we have even more coming your way tomorrow! Continue reading for a quick rundown of the main events taking place on day three of the June Atlanta Apparel Market.

T.J. Reid, former award-winning retailer and editor of Fashion Advantage Magazine, will give an educational seminar entitled “Who is Your Customer and How to Please Her!” This seminar will give you an inside look on how to satisfy your shoppers and keep them coming back to your store. The seminar will begin at 10 a.m. on Floor 8 in the Northeast Quadrant.

As an independent retailer, it’s important to stay on top of trends both in the fashion world and with technology. Join ShopToko as they present, “Maximize Your Buying Power: Leveraging new technologies and fast fashion trends to build your sales.” Come and explore ways you can utilize the web to enhance your buying experience both online and offline. The seminar will take place from 11 a.m. – noon in the Northeast Quadrant on floor 8 (right after the presentation from T.J. Reid).

Get your accessory swag bag at 2 p.m. on Floor 4!

Come to Floor 4 at 2 p.m. and receive your swag bag full of the latest gems and jewels, all found in the Atlanta Apparel temporaries. And don’t forget to check out all the booths for even more glitz and glamour.

The Daily Strut lights up at 3 p.m. featuring lines from our Young Contemporary category. Young Contemporary had a RECORD-SETTING April Market and will cover almost half the temporary exhibit spaces during the June Apparel Market. So be sure to check all the exhibits on the runway on Floor 2.

Atlanta Apparel is Haute for Prom this August

HauteforProm1In just a few weeks, retailers from around the globe will experience the Nation’s Largest Prom Market.  To make the huge number of must-have fashion pieces easier to navigate, Atlanta Apparel is hosting the world’s top special occasion designers in one fabulous evening at the largest fashion show of the year, Haute for Prom. Taking place on Thursday, August 26 at 6:30 p.m. in the atrium LOUNGE on Floor 2, Haute for Prom will spotlight designer’s latest styles and trends.

Taking center stage are five featured sponsors. Gold sponsors Kiss Kiss Formal by Mary’s, Dana Mathers, Mac Duggal and Alfred Angelo, along with silver sponsor Terani, will highlight collections of prom, bridal, pageantry, homecoming, Quinceañera and social occasion and accessory designs opening the show with their newest collections. Plus, there will be dozens of more names to see throughout the evening

Buyers will also be able to see the Style Runway
Fashion Show on Friday,HauteforProm2 August 27 at 6:30 p.m.
in the LOUNGE, Floor 2. Retailer’s Survival Kit Breakfast Seminar: Managing Budgets, Cash Flow and Inventory
A group of Retailers from Southeast,will share their personal tips and experience to the seminar to enhance buyers. This will be a panel discussion and open-topic Q /A seminar discussing what you really need-to-know about maintaining budget, watching cash flow and controlling inventory. The Rights of Retailing
Presented by T.J. Reid, editor of Fashion Advantage, will help you define the five rights for running a successful business. The five “P” words Place, Product, People, Price and Presentation, will each be defined. Judith March Headlines April Style Runway Fashion Show

This April at Atlanta Apparel, one company from Florida, Judith March, takes center stage as the headlining sponsor of the Style Runway fashion show.

The Judith March collection will feature summer and transitional into fall young contemporary dresses. Judith March designer and owner, Stephanie Nichols describes this new collection as vintage pin up girl meets southern rock.  

The fashion show takes place on Friday at 6:30 p.m. in the atrium of Floor 2, following a cocktail reception at 6 p.m.
