Faviana Enchants the Lives of Prom Goers, Starting with the August Atlanta Apparel Market

favianaRenowned special occasion gown designer, Faviana is making the prom dreams of Atlanta high school girls come true, and it all begins at Market next week. Faviana has partnered with an Atlanta-based organization called Enchanted Closet to be part of its mission to give girls that might not have been able to purchase a gown the opportunity to find their perfect prom dress.

Faviana has committed to donating a percentage of its sales at the August Atlanta Apparel Market to Enchanted Closet, along with providing several of its top gowns. Faviana will be promoting the organization and encouraging all buyers to help the cause throughout Market. Also, Bonita Johnson, head of Enchanted Closet, will be at Market in Faviana’s showroom speaking about the organization and seeking volunteers and more donations.faviana1

As an organization that is 100 percent run by volunteers, Enchanted Closet relies on industry leaders to contribute and provide dresses and/or financial assistance to ensure that all local girls’ have the “one” gown they desire for prom. And, it’s well on its way with the help of veterans like Faviana.

Winners Whisk Away Mustang

During the August Atlanta Apparel Market, Jovani gave away a FREE Ford mustang to one lucky retailer. All retailers had the chance to enter by stopping by the Jovani showroom on the Special Occasion floor 10 during Market. On Sunday evening at a cocktail party in the showroom, the winner was drawn and announced. Thomas and Ethel Smawley of The Encounter, headquartered in Kingsport, TN, were the lucky winners. The Smawleys have been in the apparel business for more than three decades and have been coming to Atlanta for Market for 34 years. Ethel told AmericasMart that this was the first time they had ever won anything. The couple drove away their hot red Ford Mustang today…heading back to Tennessee in style!mustang

Jovani is Giving Away a Mustang at Market!

Stop by the Jovani showroom to pick up a raffle ticket and enter to win. The drawing will be held Sunday, August 23 at 7:30 p.m. in the Jovani Showroom.
