You don’t want to miss Atlanta Apparel’s special occasion show, featuring all the new designs for the season in prom, pageant and bridal. Reservations are coming in daily and four sponsors are currently headlining the show. Platinum sponsors include Mary’s Bridal and Precious Formals, Gold Sponsor is Emerald Bridal and Silver Sponsor is P & B Systems. It’s always a full house and a reception prior to the show will include complimentary food and drinks. You don’t want to miss it!

Fab’rik, an Atlanta boutique chain who shops Atlanta Apparel every Market-along with CBS Atlanta-is on a mission for clothes-your clothes! Fab’rik is asking for all ladies to clean out their closets and bring their treasures to the nearest shop for the “Fab’rik for Rockstars free shopping spree”. The owner and her team have created a back-to-school shopping spree for deserving local teens in need of a fresh look for school. On August 8, the chosen girls will have the opportunity to shop the store with no worries of a price. They will be greeted by personal shoppers and have a day filled with fashion!
Donations will be accepted NOW thru August 4, and can be dropped off at any of the three Fab’rik boutiques in the city.

The hottest and most popular Young Contemporary (YC) lines are at Atlanta Apparel. From the west coast and across the nation, these hot lines have arrived to expand their businesses and open accounts with southeast boutiques and specialty stores.
The 3rd floor YC section at Atlanta Apparel is the perfect destination to find these collections. Some newer additions to the floor are XOXO, Monoreno, Freeway, Esley, and Survival. Some of our key players–including Wish Collection, Funky People, YA, Kitty, Yahada, Young Essence, Seamlessland and Classique-will be showing the season’s hottest looks.

Since we’ve started blogging, we’re finding more and more exhibitors are visiting the blog and letting us know what’s going on in their world. We’ve enjoyed getting to know our customers in this new format. And, they are telling us about their blogs. Most recently, Nashville Wraps blogged about their experience at the July Market. The 4th floor temporaries at Atlanta Apparel feature beautiful jewelry, handbags, scarves, hosiery and shoes, contemporary casual and comfort shoes. Some of the top sellers on the 4th floor for jewelry and handbags are Sue Cox, Ethel & Myrtle, Susan Shaw, Bonnie Leigh Accessories, S & J international, MJK Global, Anthony Alexander, Artistic Expressions, Clay Cox and many more. These vendors have great wholesale price points and a wide variety of product.
A few other must see jewelry lines are Crown Pearls, Hila, Nikita Lynn, Zad, Suzy-Shaw Berardo, Seasons, Pretty Persuasions and Jimmy Crystal.
Scarves continue to be a popular trend, and dozens of Atlanta Apparel exhibitors carry the popular product in a plethora of colors, styles and patterns. VSA Accessories, stationed in a bright pink booth, is an anchor booth on the floor. The scarves are very hip and classic with great price points, too. Some new vendors seen in August for scarves are Siam Secrets, Unique World Trends, Magic Scarf and Look from London. Look from London also carries contemporary leggings and hosiery, and has created quite a name for itself in the fashion industry.
Also on the 4th floor, check out all the hot shoes and well recognized brands. Contemporary lines include Jessica Simpson, Naughty Monkey, Blowfish, Bronx, Rampage, Restricted, Volatile and Zigi NY.
Great new lines that can’t be missed include Sperry Top-sider, Alegria, Born, Sugar, Athena Alexander, Callisto, Novela and Jack Rogers.
Plus, Atlanta Apparel hosts several long-standing shoe vendors such as: Jim Luckie, Honey Bee, Italian Shoemakers, Consolidated/Poetic License, Olem and Yellow Box that are sure to feature fabulous styles this August.
Spring looks featuring European lines will debut in Children’s World at Market.
Plus, Doodlefish will unveil its newly expanded showroom (13N104), adding a wider selection of Newport Cottages furniture and Little Castle Chairs-a product line never before seen at AmericasMart.

AmericasMart just wrapped up the GIANT Gift, Home Furnishings & Area Rug Markets, and is gearing up for the August 20-24 Atlanta Apparel Show. Author T.J. Reid will host a seminar Saturday, August 22 at 9 a.m., and the first 25 retailers to the presentation will receive her new book What Mother Never Told Ya About Fashion. This is one event that you can’t afford to miss!
For the next few weeks the apparel team is traveling to LA, NY, Chicago and Vegas to add great new lines to the fashion forward merchandise that Atlanta Apparel is known for. You’ll want to be here this August!
