Area Rug Growth in July

Area RugsThere will be more area rugs at AmericasMart than anywhere else in the world this summer. More than 100 area rug companies/manufacturers call Atlanta their home, and more than half show here exclusively.

Area rug retailers will also have the chance to shop the home furnishings floors for cross-merchandising opportunities. And the same goes for home furnishings retailers and interior designers-now, they can take advantage of the area rug product center while shopping their normal home floors. It’s a win-win for both! Plus, cross merchandising is very popular right now and an innovative way to attract new customers and maintain the loyal ones.

When walking the Area Rug floors, be sure to stop by these new and newly expanded and relocated showrooms:

Amadi Carpets (5-D-7)

The Creative Touch (5-F-2)

Jerry H. Aziz Oriental Rugs (5-F-1)

Harounian Rugs International (6-A-1)

Zollanvari Ltd. (3-D-11),

See what they’re saying….

“During the 16 years we have exhibited our product at AmericasMart, our partnership with AmericasMart has only grown stronger, including our confidence in the strength of its market center,” says Jerry Aziz. “Our showroom and the business we conduct here are vital components to the success of our company.”

“AmericasMart is the only North American Market where our company chooses to exhibit because it is where our customers come to do business,” says Sanjay Purohit, CEO of Zollanvari. “We have had great success showing here, and hope to reach new customers with the opening of our new space.”

“With the expansion and relocation of our showroom, we will be better positioned to showcase our unique antique recreations to our customers,” says Baki Ildiz of The Creative Touch, Inc. “AmericasMart has provided our company with the largest and most efficient market center to reach out to and build our customer base, and because of our partnership, we have been able to significantly increase our presence in the marketplace.”

Plus, in partnership with the Oriental Rug Retailers of America (ORRA), AmericasMart is hosting s a full lineup of educational programming through its renowned AmericasMart University (AMU) classes.
